Dr. Gerson's alternative health treatment?
what other things is the Gerson diet, known to cure besides cancer?I watched the documentary and it was primarily about treating cancer, but they also mentioned being able to cure a myriad of other diseases does anyone know what they might be?I disagree with you lo... I've seen proof of it... and I know for a fact it's saved thousands of people. 1 person, what are you even talking about. you must be a doctor? also, i believe it's way better than pumping poison kemo into your body.Lo, i'm not going to argue with you except to say you are flat out wrong, you need to get your facts straight, and not answer questions based on wild fanatical assumptions. go learn something From my experience my mother had stage 3 cancer of the cervix and the ovaries, she had a slim chance of living, she did radiation treatment for a time and because of that, yes they killed the cancer, but they half killed her as well, she has had so many problems since then that it almost seems like it wasn't worth it at all. had i known about Gerson's therapy then, we would have went full force into that. your ideals of conventional treatments are idiotic, i hope you don't have to suffer in the years to come as my mother has from the effects of poisoning your body also... when you mention taking that many vitamins, are you out of your mind, that many vitamins can act as poison in your system and can actually make things worse... the coffee enemas are a huge part of the therapy, if you pass on that, you're not letting your liver or colon flush toxins properly, the fact that you didn't do that and other things you mentioned to me means you did it wrong. sorry to say.and to you " flizbap" use your head why do you think congressmen and the leaders of our great nation won't allow that to happen? BECAUSE THEY CAN'T MAKE MONEY ON IT. you think our government lives in candy land and do the right thing all the time.. wake up dude. the same reason they use mercury in tooth fillings and put fluoride in toothpaste fluoride by the way is used in the production of nuclear weapons manufacturing they make you sick, why do they make you sick... so that you can pay out the ass for insurance that half the time won't cover you when you are sick. they can hear the " cha ching" as we speak as thousands nay, millions of people get stuck with huge medical bills. i suggest you watch some documentaries and read some books.
Does Google et al have some political agenda with regards to Wiki's placement in alternative health search?
I punched in a few key, diverse topics which many could term " politically loaded" , including poverty, 911, and of course alternative medicine. In all three, Wikipedia was first in placement in the Google search results. Wiki had of course launched its attack against non conventional therapies in the very first sentence while simultaneously appealing to doners to help maintain the site's objectivity . Is there some political angle here to this placement of that " encyclopedia" foremost on the Google search results ?
Careers in alternative health?
My name is Daniel, and I really need your help. I wanna be a raw foodist one day, wanna try raw meat one day, and wanna do a long fast one day. I am currently doing oil pulling, using detox foot pads, and am drinking kefir, and kombucha. But the thing is I'm in college and I have no idea what I wanna do. I've been battling myself with what I wanna do in my mind for so long. I thought Naturopathic doctor but changed my major from bio after first semester. I googled and learned about this program about Holistic HEalth Practioners but don't know much about it. But what I know is that the direction I wanna head in is helping people improve their health through the means of diet, and alternative health methods such as ayruveda medicine. I don't believe in the way the healthcare is run today. Also i have acne and am trying to get rid of that. I don't wanna ba a nutrionist eitther because it's cooking based. Do you guys have any ideas or anything you'd like to expose me to?
Would you know a book that displays the various alternative health therapies like tai chi, gi qong, acupunct?
What was your most surprising success with alternative health..on you or someone you know..can you give us?

What are some natural ways to recover from the onslaught of general anesthesia? I am alternative health?
oriented and would never have surgery unless there was no other option. I did and now I am so sick and vomited from all the meds from anesthesia, etc. What can I do now in natural forms foods, etc.to recover?Also, has anyone else had a bad anesthesia experience? I heard they have certain anesthesia drugs that alleviate nausea, why don't they use them then...
Need two questions on juice fasting answered, alternative health community. If anyone knows, you guys will?
1 Will using the pulp from the juiced produce into a veggie broth ruin my juice fast?2 how about adding organic v8 or tomato juice to my nastier tasting juice combo to increase the taste?Will using either of these cooked or processed heated products affect any of the positive benefits from a juice fast.I am trying to go on a 45 day juice fast. I know Dr Schulze who used fasting as one of the things to heal people did allow the use of herb teas and potassium broth made from boiling certain veggies, straining and consuming the broth during a juice fast and am wondering the answer to my 2 questions. I know raw foods juices heal and I am still taking in a lot of those but hate to waste the pulp and freezer will be too jammed if I save all the pulp for several weeks. this way I could use it plus broths seem a little more substantial than juicing when one is fasting helping sometimes.Keep in mind I will be doing at least 50% or more raw juices when I minus the tomato juice and broths.Plus I have a lot of tomato juice v8 on hand from buying before and I can't afford to drink the large quantities he recommends a gallon of fluids a day just by juicing as it takes so much produce to just get a little juice.So will this hurt the program please stick to the questions and refrain from giving opinions if you think juice fasting is bad. what about adding a little miso to the broth to add a bit of protein flavor alsoedit I am not doing any pulp and all is strained through a cloth before consuming but my question is still unansweredthanks for checking back and editing. I am also doing herbal colon and other cleansing of the organs.I was worried using the clear broth from the veggies or the processed v8 or tomato juice in addition to the raw produce juices would hurt but it seems you feel it will not..good day 5 going well
